That bass player is ridiculously good :o
They had a mindmeld with Quincy Jones. My wife is gonna freakout when she sees this.
Holy crap that bass player rips. I have to admit I'm not up to date with my pop music but if it sounded like that I would be.
I dig that drummer too. And the keys has some really cool changes.
cool when I think of unconventional covers of pop songs, I think Pomplamoose--really inspiring for arranging/DIY ethos imo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIr8-f2OWhs
These guys have done some phenominal stuff, including some crazy cool covers. Check out the video below if you want to see something cool. Video Songs are turning into a very cool medium for music.

This band make me want to quit music. Their original MO was to make electronica in a live band context. They went beyond that to make something utterly unique.
The musicianship is... mind boggling. The drummer is an absolute demon. We played a show with his old band and the crowd ended up just chanting his name by the end of the show.
Awesome! Yeah Pomplamoose is awesome! I've always loved the simplicity and originality of their arrangements.
Pretty sweet vid Jacob! Loved those guys too...Like you said, I've seen that style of video song getting pretty popular in the tube, and most of them sound amazing...

This is awesome! I love experimental music...I'm assuming you've heard Mutemath before right? One of my favorite bands! Those guys live are just phenomenal...
