Title: Total recall compander choices
Post by: Modular1972 on March 01, 2017, 10:43:08 PM
Hello!  I've got the pcb and nearly all the components to start building the total recall. I'm a bit stumped on sourcing an NE570. Small bear used to have them. Has anyone tried the Cool Audio V571d?  It should work being rated up to 16 volts as it is...I realize the ne 570 has heftier ratings but aside from eBay, (where I've been burned buying NOS IC's) it seems a little bleak.

v571s work fine, use with confidence.

Bout to build mine up finally and ordered the v571 from smallbear after reading a report or two about less noise. Also, check out this link for a biasing issue
