Title: Noob question
Post by: Guitar Master on August 24, 2011, 09:25:04 PM
So I was waiting for the components of my mudbunny to arrive, and i was thinking that in the project pdf  they is an illustration call fabbed version that has red lines connecting some components. What do these lines mean?

Thanks for putting up with my question

On a fabbed board, you can often connect parts one BOTH sides of the PCB. Most of the home etched boards are 'single sided', meaning the traces are one one side of the board. You can also make double sided boards which allow you to connect parts with traces on both sides of the board and are 'double sided'.

The red lines are traces on one side of the board, the blue are on the other.
