7 7/8" L x 6 5/8" W x 1 3/8" H are the dimensions.

Are you talking about the EHX enclosure? The one he is rehousing with can't be 6" + wide

I'm 99.9% positive that is a Hammond 1590J / Eddystone 10758PSLA, which are basically the same product listed under different names. Here is one I used in my Deluxe Memory Man for reference.

Funnily enough, I found that Eddystone and Hammond enclosures - despite being very similar with their sizes - use different screws for the lid.
It's a bit of a bummer, because I seem to have plenty of Eddystone ones and very few (ie three per box) for the Hammonds - it's a bit socks lol
