Hi all.
I can't get my head around this, i feel such a n00b!
Basically I need/want to add send and retun jacks between an overdrive and a delay circuits in a multi I am building.
My understanding is that the send jack should be linked to the out of circuit 1 and the return to the input of circuit 2.
My goal is that when no other pedal is plugged in the s/n the two circuits act as they would chained one another...
Do you have any schematic or (better) a layout of such wiring? I sort of figured i might need stereo jacks but my n00bness prevents me to go ahead 😂
Any help?
I like the Tayda pj-629HAN jacks for this.

You'll need to use one at the output of the first circuit, and another at the input of the second. The T and G get connected like standard mono jacks, then just run a wire between each of those jacks using the TN pins.
I like using Switchcraft 12a jacks. You could use them similar to this picture. (http://music-electronics-forum.com/attachments/26344d1384514316-jack-plug-socket-switch-.jpg)
I would connect the output of effect #1 (I would presume the distortion) to the send's tip lug, connect a wire from the send' switch lug to the return's switch lug, and connect the return's tip lug to the input of effect #2.
Are you adding these between two complete circuits, or are the jacks within a part of a circuit? If it's within an effect (like in the wet signal of the delay), you might have to think about adding buffers before and after the jacks.
Thanks both.
The loop isn't part of either circuit... just a crude send/return between the OD and the delay.
I think i can tackle it now 😜
