Title: bumblebee / dizzy tone
Post by: dami11e on June 20, 2017, 03:37:19 PM
hi all

i'm wondering if anyone can point/link/etc. specific directions on how to build out a dizzy tone from the bumblebee pcb.

i've been planning to put together a bumblebee for my first build--all the parts are ready to click the 'order' button--and i wanted to do a little last-minute research/reconsideration before i settle into the purchase/build process. i've seen it specifically referenced here (http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=19129.msg185768#msg185768), and i've done enough research to know that they're very similar circuits and builds, and that they sound very much alike as well.  still, i know there are some differences & i'm interested in finding out what these might be, hearing about some specific experiences, &etc.

finally, this is my first post & i'm hoping that this is the correct spot for it.  i know it's a newbie question, but it's also a general question about a project--also, there doesn't seem to be any mention of it other than where i've linked.

thanks for reading & cheers on the fantastic work you all do!

Hi! I just answered your PM with all the specifics. I hope your first build goes well. Let me know what you're planning for transistors. I've figured out a couple of good patterns of gain/leakage for the MkIII/Buzzaround circuit based on extensive reading at all the various forums...
