Title: Peacekeeper with wood veneer finish
Post by: Thomas3D on July 26, 2017, 10:17:29 PM
Wanted to share my enclosure finishing technique. I apply a wood veneer onto a painted box with spray adhesive. I then use a Dremel with sanding drum to sand the veneer flush to the box, also exposing a some of the metal creating a pin line. I stained the veneer black. Used 1/4 inch vinyl lettering and an enamel paint pen for the lettering. Final step is to apply a layer of epoxy to the top.

Wow, half barn, half pedal. That looks very cool and I really like the rustic lettering.
