Right place/right time for the VFE chorus. Trashed a Mandroid board because of the alpha switch and my inability to read the concisely rewritten document. I did the same to my first meatsphere board so apparently I've learned nothing :-)
The weird part is that I picked up the Mandroid mostly out of curiosity (I'm not big on wacky stuff) and had a blast making usable (and unusable) sounds. Then I boxed it.
I'll be ordering a replacement board shortly.
Feel your pain. When I put the relay upside down in my Pale Horse, even after I looked at the picture right before soldering it, I was like are you going senile or something. You would think your attention to detail would go up more with the pile of pedals you've built. Testing my Alpha Dog yesterday. Have bypass and power but no signal when turned on. Oh crap, what did I screw up this time. Well it might help, if you put the freaking IC in. And it did.
I was itching to pull the trigger on the Mandroid but my curiosity Just wouldn't give in lol.
