Title: Bloodstone phaser
Post by: lars on September 02, 2017, 04:52:53 AM
I finished this build a while back. This proved to be a challenging circuit to get rid of the "pop" when switching it on and off. It turns out, I had to settle on the original, non-true bypass switching mode that the Bad Stone used in order to eliminate the pop. Nothing else worked (kind of a waste of a 3PDT). It's fine since the circuit doesn't create any tone-suck problems anyway. I also eliminated the "Vibe" switch, which seems more like the "seasickness" mode...really didn't seem to have any use for my taste. I've been doing a lot of builds lately in this 80's arcade style. I also like this new method of hiding the LED behind the sticker and it only shines through a tiny drill hole. This has a genuine NOS RCA CD4009.

Just do a search for "Solange font" and it's the first link that comes up.

Please sell that pedal to me or build me a twin.  That is gorgeous and I need a Bad Stone replica baly for my rig.

Far out man.

Very nice, and the trippy graphics are perfect for this circuit.
