If I omit the VU components as recommended, the space for the parts leading up to the on-board trimmer offer an option for something else...like an on-board level control. I'm not sure why I would use it, but it occurred to me that two outputs at different levels might be useful for something...no idea what...feed another signal chain, a looper, an FX loop? I have the vocabulary figured out, but not the ingenuity.
I don't know what kind of enclosure I will use...but I don't have a need to fit a standard 1590 type enclosure.
Kind of a luxury to have extra breadboard area...you don't always have that 'bonus'.
Any thoughts?
Thank you
