Title: Afterlife - Sustain A100k potentiometer is noisy
Post by: fair.child on October 18, 2017, 09:26:25 PM
Folks,

I just completed the Afterlife today and I've found out the Sustain potentiometer is very noisy whenever I turn it up.

Steps to debug I've taken:
1. Changed to the new A100K potentiometer
2. Tried to fix the wiring on the board to both potentiometers (VOL and SUSTAIN)
3. Tried to check every wiring connection with the DMM
4. Tried to clean the Sustain potentiometer

I am looking more ways to debug. The signal chain Guitar -> Afterlife -> Clean Amp. I'm expecting sparkle clean sound out from the compressor. I just don't get it why every time I turn the sustain potentiometer up it always crackles/noisy.

Thoughts?/Ideas?
