Title: Slow Loris Problem
Post by: kh04453 on October 28, 2017, 10:30:48 PM
I'm building an 8 Ball Slow Loris 2 in 1 and the 8 Ball side works great. But the Slow Loris only passes signal in bypass. The LED won't even come on. My switch is wired properly and all of my connections seem to be solid. I checked the voltage on my IC and it's practically 0V across each pin. I'm starting to think one of the capacitors or the transistor might be in backwards. Is there any easy way to test for this?

There's no power to the board. Check voltages on both sides of the 1N5817.

The 1n5817 was in backwards. Would explain why I wasn't getting power. I'll fix it and report back if I still have problems. Thanks!

So I reverse the diode and now the board is getting power, but I still don't have signal. The voltage at my IC and LED are still very low.
