You guys ever try this thing? I just got the mid 80s "black box" version in a trade and it sounds spectacular. I've dialed it in to my usual Mistress settings and almost prefer it over the Current Lover. Haven't look under the hood but I think these had the SAD1024 chip... what a great chip for flanging. Is the Ross another MXR clone or is it something original?
It's an MXR copy. All of the Ross stuff basically was.

With a few minor tweaks here and there. The famous ROSS compressor had a tweaked circuit from the dynacomp, hence why Trey Anastasio liked his so much (and why fans did so much they bought him another one lol)
