Thanks for the heads up. I've wanted to try out the Trio for a while. I wonder if you can get weird with it.

Oh man, WHY YOU GOTTA POST THIS. I went ahead and bought the Trio for $50. I figure it might help with some project demos so why not. Thanks for the heads up!

Actually, would anyone in the US want to grab one for me and post it over?

Ordered. Now awaiting the inevitable three of four calls from my personal sales engineer to let me know when the Trio has been processed, handed over to USPS, about to be delivered, and delivered. Also expecting one a week from delivery to ask how the Trio is working out and if I need anything else*.

*Miku Stomp, but not at current prices

I got one of them too, but I bought it in town. I have a GC rep also, but I get annoyed when he calls me asking if I want to buy anything.

With Sweetwater, I told my rep I didn't want to be called on orders and they stopped eventually.

I've already gotten my call apparently. Luckily I never answer the phone unless it's my wife. And then only most of the time  :)

sigh.....I don't need it! I just bought a PRS for $348.00 from them.....

I'm curious if it can keep up with weird progressive, grooves, and switch between them.

I didn't think that version had a looper?

I'm probably gonna have to pick them one up.

Not for a looper - you can use it to control some functions on the Trio. Check at 3:45

Yo dawg, I heard you like pedals. So we made a pedal for your pedal so you can stomp switches while you're stompin' switches.

The only way it could be better is if there was a third one for the second. Your pedals pedal has a pedal also.

The Trio needs to be in a true bypass looper just to avoid having a buffer in the clean signal path. This can be part of a chunk of fx chains. Maybe I only want it on the stacked Timmy>Klon part of my board, which is itself in an A/B looper that let's me switch between that and two stacked KoTs. Of course, the modulation section of my board also needs to be behind a true bypass looper to get rid of any buffers and make it so I can just turn on all those choruses, delays, and reverbs with a single switch. Lastly, the whole board needs a true bypass looper so my pickups can see the amp's input directly when I want it clean. But my cables are too long, so I need a good buffer in front of it all.  The Trio's controller can sit next to the buffer for easy access.

It's ok, I'm planning on having JHS rehouse it into one giant enclosure so I can use it for P&W.

I'm not paying $61 minimum for shipping to Australia.

I think Cody (selfdestroyer) made an etchable board for this.
EDIT: He actually did, but it's not really necessary. But I guess, you know that already.

Got to play with my Trio today. First off, it includes a 9v adapter, so that's worth 10-20 right there. It took me a minute to figure out how to get it to play along with a simple rhythm. After I figured out how to work the pedal, it was even able to play along to a more intricate instrumental thing I've been working on. I think I'll be using it a bunch for jamming on ideas.

Snagged one at Long & McQuade in Canada today... just couldn't pass it up after seeing this thread. Of all the styles I wound up jamming with a Country drummer for about an hour, it was fun. Lots to learn about that little box. I found it sounded best in a TB loop sitting behind a buffer. Oh, and one more thing... it's got a lot of juice. Don't turn it on unless your rhythm section has their volumes on minimum.
