And by that, I mean what ideas do you have for "upcoming" projects that have yet to gel in your mind in a solid form?
My current back-of-the-mind concept is (another) sequencer, but entirely microprocessor driven. The many analog inputs (may as well go 4x8 if we're going to this much hassle) aren't too much of a problem, given enough switching and muxing and shit. The main thing I'm turning over is the control layout, and what to include on it. Eurorack only has so much space.
What projects do you have percolating in the back of your noggin?
If i had the know how i would do a ehx micro synth xD bass or guitar :D
Haha...nice try. You are definitely not stealing my idea for a diesel-powered reverb.
Oh...crap.
My brain is itching to design something using a force-sensing resistor foot control to make some kind of effect inspired by a creaking wooden floorboard. Something like a stutter/chirp, perhaps to transition in a rough jagged way from one effect to another as you apply more foot pressure. 8) I've got some of the details worked out, but no breadboard space currently to start experimenting.

Diesel-powered reverb is fine if you are in warmer climates, but for those of us in the Midwest, they won't start in the winter.

Throw a little rust in that aluminum enclosure. Thermite-powered reverb! Built-in pyrotechnic grand finale with automatic kill switch.
I'm working on a wah that uses multiple 100mH axial inductors to add up to ~500mH. It's cheaper than a standard wah inductor (about half price), and I plan to have a DIP switch to turn individual inductors off/on to adjust the frequency response (probably a range of 300mH - 600mH).
Also, got in the works a rehash of my first-ever "original" design (a fuzz), but with some major enhancements and a fun new name: Bad Hombre
I made an ozone generator today, and I'm working up a raspberry pi timer and relay... thing to let it run for a few seconds at a time a few times a day.
(I know its not music related in any way, but Its about as far as my circuit design prowess can take me ;D)
Not circuit-related project: organize my growing stash of SMD parts.
Since I started down the SMD rabbit-hole a year ago, I've got a few cardboard boxes of SMD parts in strips/bags.
There's a nice box by Aide Tek that I need to get and work on organization and space-saving. SMD parts are like
individual grains of cat litter so organization isn't very straight-forward.

I highly recommend these:

Since they snap together, you can rearrange them very easily when you add new values.
I recommend spending more on the antistatic ones for active components.
I've been thinking about putting LFOs where they don't belong. Can I add a second LFO to a tremolo and use it to modulate the depth or speed of the trem? What would be the best wave form for that? Sure I can use an LFO for pitch modulation in a delay, but what happens if I tie it to the "mix" knob instead of the "time" knob? Do I get tremolo on the delay signal only? These are the things that keep me awake at night.

Damn you, I swore to the wife I was done spending money this week. ugh
I'm finally going to motivate myself to build a couple of multis I've been threatening to build for over a year now. The Karma Gear; a new, possibly improved version of the Space Ritual pedal I sold last year, and the Gilmouriser mk3, who's boards have been built and in a box for well over a year just waiting for me to get my arse into gear.
Circuit-wise there's a few things I wouldn't mind getting done at some point. But it's nothing new, just new layouts of old effects mainly. Just to suit the way we build them.
On the retro computing/console side of things I'm pretty much done now in terms of hardware. Though there's a new PC-Engine add-on that's come out that's making me want to sell my DUO (which I need to repair first) and get that.
Nothing unique. Just a bunch of multis.
- Klonpressor (Afterlife/Klon)
- Beastmode (Mudflap/Superjudge/Boost)
- Tigerdrive (Crunchbox/Cavedeweller)
- Brotherhood of Steel (BE-OD/Zendrive, both with switchable gain channels)
- Monolith (Dr Boogie/BE-OD/?Zendrive?)
- Boofhead (Big British Distortion)
That reminds me, we've built the Flange?!, that just needs boxing also.
redoing my king of tone clone to address my issues with it ... actually finishing my multi of op amp big muff and dist II ... getting my hands on a ring stinger pcb set ...
Still sizing down. Trying to sell two guitars and an amp right now but I'm asking too much for them ......
I only play and really only need the Tele. So maybe, maybe when the other stuff is gone I'll build another Tele, with a Bigsby and a P90 in the neck. Maybe.
Look what the mailman brought the other day, I installed these, they sound glorious, of course:

Thanks Tim!
A multi with Azerbache, Britannia, Marshally, and a Triple Wreck in the same box YO!
Bit of planning involved
Need to finish my BOTY entry and also look into some simple eurorack rigs, maybe buy dome rails from Thonk. Then perf up some simple modules to go with a PIF I won.
