Title: Grapevine voltage readings
Post by: mjcyates on July 12, 2010, 12:40:34 AM
I just wired up my grapevine and it is not working. Bypass is fine. Engaged = no signal, no led. Can you provide me voltage readings so I can try to track down the issue? Thanks!

if it is a board you pnp blue iron on/etched yourself from the brian's pcb layout here,  be sure and check around the edges of the ground plane for shorts to the traces.  it's easy to do when you roll your own.   no led AND no signal sounds like a power supply ground out.    rh

Thanks, I am pretty sure that is what is happening, I just need to track down where it's happening.

That's exactly what was happening. I had a sloppy solder joint on r17 that spilled over to ground. Fixed that and now everything works. Thanks.
