Title: Project recommendations - Metal distortion with noise gate
Post by: LaceSensor on January 13, 2018, 04:35:26 PM
Hi

anyone got any suggestions for ready to build PCBs for something like a Rectifier (triple wreck?) with an integrated noise gate?

At a push I dont mind two PCBs but an all in one solution would be grand.

Recommend-me-do!

GO!

If you can find one you could try a Grind Custom Aeons, it is supposed to be a tightMetal clone with integrated Gate control. It was in stock when I looked at their page last time but as the page is now offline I'm not sure if there is a method to get in touch with them.

Sounds like the Amp Tweaker - Tight Metal fits the bill, no idea how good the gate is but it has got a rudimentary one.

Beaten to it by seconds!

Keefe can do the etched version, if you don't mind wires. The gate on the Tight Metal (Dragon Armour, for the etched) works quite well.

If SMD is not a dealbreaker for you, you can try try this one:

again it is a tight metal clone, it is from the same guy (may he RIP) who made the GC Aeons.
