Dolores O'Riordan, lead singer of Irish rock band The Cranberries, died suddenly on Monday. She was 46. O'Riordan died in London, where she was recording.

such a shame, a brilliant songwriter and performer

Man that is horrible. She had a pretty unique voice.

Man, that band hit at exactly the right time for me to love them. (I'm 40.) I still listen to their music fairly regularly. Major bummer anytime someone dies that young, with so much more to give the world.
