Title: OP275 Op Amp sub in Zirconia
Post by: Droogie on February 05, 2018, 02:36:30 AM
Anyone know what's a common sub that would be good for this circuit? I have everything but that one IC to do the build.

Thanks!

Well, most dip8 op-amps have the same pinout, so a TL072/etc would probably function, technically speaking.

But compressors can be a bit touchy about the chips in them. I don't know the circuit well enough to tell how important the precise part is.

I didn't have one when I built mine either.  I think I used an OPA2132 & it was fine.  A 072 would be the first thing I'd try if you're trying not to go shopping.  Let us know if that works out.

So I finally had the bright idea to open up my zirc "sr" build to see what ICs I used. 5532 in place of OP275—sounds great!
