I've been looking at the Pork Barrel schematic and trying to make sense out of it, but there are a few points which I don't understand:
1) What do the circles with "pin" in them indicate?
2) What do letters L, P, and G connect to?
3) Could anybody provide some insight on how this circuit makes the chorus happen?
Thanks ahead for your replies! :)
the circles with pin are connected to GND, SWITCH, IN, OUT etc
L is the pad which you connect the LED to the switch
the P & G is to do with the BBD choice MN3007 and MN3207 (the jumpers used in each case)
So for the MN3207 G needs to connect to VD and P connects to GND
So for th MN3007 G connect to GND and P connects to VD
Thanks for the quick reply! :) Just one thing I'm still confused about - do the two points marked P in the schematic connect at GND (or at VD if it's and MN3007)? Is there a reason why these points weren't connected to each other in the schematic, or was this just to make it more convenient to look at?
The P's are connected all the time. The lines a schematic are known as 'nets' and if they are both labelled 'p' then they are connected without being physically connected by a line.
