Title: POWER SUPPLY BUILDS?
Post by: trailer on June 27, 2018, 06:24:36 PM
It's time to ditch the one spot wall wart and get something that will kill the static. Does anyone out there offer DIY builds for power supplies similar to how madbeans offers pedal boards?

I built one myself, but it is totally not worth it. You have to deal with mains voltage, which can be dangerous and parts are not too cheap (mainly the transformer). For the money involved (40-50 € with enclosure) you can easily get a decent commercial PSU with more options and outputs and with a better form factor (mine is a bulky cube).

I'd recommend this one. It's hard to beat it at that price
