So I bought some of the teflon wire that Brian and others have bought off of ebay. It looks like quality stuff but thus far has been small PITA to strip. I have auto-strippers that just slide off of it and a pair of klein strippers that only go to 20 awg. What are you guys using to strip this stuff?
I use a cheap pair of radio shack adjustable wire strippers like this. Set em and forget.

There is a trick to doing the teflon. It takes a little feel to get it right but I can do it faster and cleaner now than the small bear tinned wire.

I also use Klein strippers from Home Depot but my pair goes down to 32awg. They work great on the teflon jacket.
I've found that gripping the wire with a wooden clothespin prevents it from slipping without any marring (you have to choke up all the way to the top of the clothespin and squeeze a little). It will actually put a dent or groove in the mouth of the clothespin before it will ugly up the wire.
Thanks for the response and the tip. It looks like I'm getting a new tool :)
