Title: Need +12v, -12v on Road Rage
Post by: artstomp on January 31, 2019, 04:34:34 AM
..Hi y'all....i understand that a 9v input on the road rage will render an 18v and -9v outputs. A 12v input will scale to 24v output, but will i get a -12v on pin 5 of the charge pump?

thanks i advance

Yes. Well, you'll get slightly less than 24V and slightly more than -12V as there will be some voltage drop in the circuit. Just make sure that you use a charge pump that can take 12V input, and take care that all caps have a high enough voltage rating.
