Title: Octave up sick box
Post by: thomasha on February 13, 2019, 10:57:11 PM
My first attempt with the 1590LB,
this one was a difficult one, almost no space left.

This one is by far one of the best octave pedals I tested. I wonder why is there so little info about it?

It is really fuzzy with the gain maxed, almost blocking the signal, and when you stop playing it gets louder. Unfortunately it has a squash sound when you play chords.
But with a good setting the octave goes up almost the whole fretboard! Even with one of the diodes out of the circuit the fuzz is really good with some octaving.

Nothing about this not to love! Few people attempt the LB and fewer succeed. This is excellent. I really like the etch.

Your etches always amaze me.

A video to show how it sounds when playing chords in the octave mode.
You can hear when it's not tracking, but it still sounds kind of nice to me.

It tracks better with the tone rolled off and the neck pickup.

Wow... neat etch and sounds great too.  I'm impressed you even tried with this enclosure 8)
