Title: Reverse Voltage Protection Circuit
Post by: alexis_droso on April 17, 2019, 09:25:21 PM
Hi, I'm trying to design a reverse voltage protection circuit for a pedal that I'm currently building but I can't really understand how to use the 1N5817 schottky diode in series with the VIN and how to connect the led to that circuit. In addition, do I need to use capacitors right after the power supply circuit as filters? Last but not least, I need the protection circuit to be used for both the battery and the psu. I would really appreciate any help and any recommendations would be more than welcome. I have the effect circuit ready, I just need to figure out how to connect the protection circuit to the effect circuit.
