Agreed. One of my musical heroes. I really love "Gumbo," his cover of Big Chief is perhaps the finest rolling funk tune ever. I got a chance to see the good Dr. in the bay area as a kid - it was pretty awesome. But I've been playing Dr. John records and moping around since I heard. RIP.
