Lastest project 99% complete, a Mister FPGA box. A subsidised computer on a board (a bit more advanced than a Raspberry Pi). It's being used to emulate old arcade machines, consoles and computers in hardware.
Being almighty pikeys, rather than buy a 3D printed box, we've used a load of scavenged old kit and built a pair of them in old NAS enclosures.
The only thing we're waiting for now is an EU maker of the 128MB memory module. Then we're sorted.

Nice! I'm a software engineer and have done embedded programming, but ever time I start working with FPGAs my brain hurts. I wish I understood how to use them better. To me it is just an entirely different level of work.
I like the repurpose of the case!

Pikeys *AND* Yorkshiremen both?
Interesting project.
;D
I used a couple of those cases to build dual DI boxes......
But I prefer your project.
That sir is cool.
That enclosure looks WAY better than my naked boards with standoffs. Great job John!
I can't believe the movement in the last 2 months with the Mister. It's getting so much love lately.
Yeah the progress on the whole project is insane. Really exciting stuff.
