I've been working with a guitarist on a side project. We're trying to develop his tone for the project. His main distortion is a vintage 83 Rat. The Rat has never been my jam, so, I'm having trouble thinking of what will work well with one. Any Rat fans out there with suggestions?

If you're looking for a mid bump, following a rat with a TS is a tried-and-true setup.
