Title: Neutrino- Less glass
Post by: Davefx on November 12, 2011, 06:19:34 PM
Hi all... I'm reiterating the comment I made  in another post.. Sorry to be annoying but could anyone suggest a better, more versatile tone stack other than a stock tubescreamer's?  I basically have the tone control completely CCW... I'm happy with the pedal other than this.

Thanks in advance.

Dave

You could try increasing C4 to 220n or higher. This will roll off more of the highs. If you want to try a different stack, look at the Silver Fox. Barber used a BMP stack in that one. You can use Duncan's TSC to tweak values to your liking. Jack at AMZ has some interesting twists on TS tone controls here (http://www.muzique.com/lab/tstone.htm).

Thank you sir.  I figured that would be what I'd have to do..  I'll just breadboard the thing, which I didn't do first. I will have to that way I dont burn all the traces up changing parts! :P

Thanks again!
