Title: PedalPCB Pitch Witch LDR question?
Post by: prickly-robot on February 11, 2020, 12:52:39 AM
Got a Pitch Witch PCB, wondering what LDR I need. Build docs: https://www.pedalpcb.com/docs/PitchWitch.pdf just say 1M (I assume that's max Dark Resistance). Docs don't say what Light Resistance range to look for.

Anyone who's built one have thoughts on what LDR values make for the most useful modulation range in the finished pedal?

Tayda has this one for pretty cheap: https://www.taydaelectronics.com/photo-conductive-cell-resistor-ldr-650nm-radial-ke-10720.html
datasheet here: https://vetco.net/datasheets/VUPN6550/WAITRONY_KE10720.pdf  (looks like Light Resistance is 10-20k and Dark Resistance is .5M)
