Title: Cavedweller No voltage at pin 7
Post by: moderatelyfunky on June 02, 2020, 10:34:07 PM
Hi, I have one working cavedweller that I've been comparing my failure with and one difference I'm curious about is that there is around .6 V at pin 7 on the worker, 0V on the failure.

All other pins test out. I e swapped the pt2399s with no difference.

I've reviewed my cap and resistor values and haven't found anything yet.

Thanks for any ideas

Without seeing it, I'd say there's a short to ground somewhere, possibly a bridge. Pictures would help.

Thanks for your reply, it helped.

It turns out that I had cooked the current control led when soldering and it failed closed.

Excellent, it's up and running then?
