Hi gang
I've got a hankering to build a one knob pedal but don't know what to go for.
I'm thinking probably fuzz but any and all suggestions/recommendations will be gratefully received.
Thanks
These all use the same footprint.

The Dark Meathead and the Ritual are solid, IMO.
Any fuzz face variant. Find the sweet spot in the fuzz control with a trimpot and just have a single knob for output level.
A one-knob squeezer (either an Orange Squeezer or something more sophisticated).

Second this. You can put the input cap on a toggle to have a stock/dark switch. Just leave the output cap large enough.
SHO, AMZ mosfet booster, a Rangemaster although i added a control to vary the input capacitance, but then i've ead people say to just leave the volume on a Rangemaster cranked.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll work my way through them and figure out which one I want to make.
