Title: VFE drill guide for top-mounted audio jacks?
Post by: mweb47729 on September 22, 2020, 10:30:56 AM
Would a 125B accommodate top-mounted jacks for VFE projects?  This previous post seems to imply it would.

Was the drill guide mentioned ever made?  The guides in the zip file still show side-mounted jacks.

I believe the drill guide is in the V3 of the switch board BOM. Almost positive.

The drill guides I see in both the pdf and psd show side-mounted jacks.  Is there another source I should be referring to?

After I looked at it some more I decided that top mounted jacks are probably not going to work for many of the builds. There are too many builds that have ICs and caps that would block proper jack placement. I'd stick to side mount.

Will do side mounts.  Thanks for the response.
