Title: Vfe Fuzz duo with voltage converter to build with PNP transistors?
Post by: cooder on October 07, 2020, 10:17:37 PM
I have a bunch of PNP Germanium trannies that could fit into a fuzz face circuit, could I build the Fuzz Duo with voltage converter to work with PNP silicon and Germanium switchable? I think I'd just need to change C3 polarity and it should work.
I can't see why not so please let me know if I'm missing something drastically here, cheers.

Looks like only C3.
The switching board has to be modified so you get -9 volts. If fact, you can use the switching board to get the -9 volts

Thanks for the extra brain power there, will give it a go and see how I go!
