Title: Florist chorus for bass?
Post by: dmitrogen47 on November 12, 2020, 09:20:22 AM
Hi! I'm wondering if anyone tried using the Florist chorus with bass.

Currently looking for a PT2399 chorus to build for myself (guitar), and maybe a bassist friend of mine.
The functionality looks (and the demo sounds) very tempting for guitar.

Can the Florist be used with bass as it is? If not, are there any mods that would make it more suitable/compatible with bass?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't used the the florist but I have used the pork barrel. A Chorus has enough low end for bass. I really haven't modded anything but dirt pedals, for bass.

I think the only difference between the production CE-2 and the bass version Boss made is two capacitors. Brian might mention it in the doc for the pork barrel, I don't remember. But if not it shouldn't be hard to find.

Not sure it would apply to the florist, but it's probably worth a try.
