Title: Tayda voltage regulators: viable?
Post by: vizcities on March 25, 2021, 03:43:48 AM
I'm about to do a Tayda run & need a few voltage regulators (not pumps or inverters, just the usual 3-leg guys) for some projects, so I was considering trying theirs. Any opinions? Good or bad experiences?

I'm sure we can.  But it's statistically unlikely.   ;)

Yeah, I've used a bazillion of them.  Then again, every time I get a successful built I think "damn....how'd that happen?" so take that for what it's worth :-)

I don't think VR's are fake-able...either they work or they don't.  I honestly haven't had issues with noise or bad specs though so I would definitely stand by their product.

I did get a bad set of of the 5v regulators several years ago. But that was just a one-off. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
