Title: Gas Tank, OKFuzz and BLMOKfuzz
Post by: KMRO on April 17, 2021, 07:35:08 PM
I've been enjoying making projects and trying to grow my skills.  Paying attention to the circuits and drawing out every schematic before I build.  Here are a couple of finished pedals.

This is a really fun pedal to play with.  Honestly what I'm generally turning on first with the bass.  The fuzz gate combo just sounds so unruly.  Planning the companion build soon.

I've been thinking about starting to build in 1590A enclosures (little uns).  This was a little difficult because I bought some enclosed jacks and confused myself on the pin outs.  But I'm really happy with the sound and the build of this.  Building in the little case encouraged me to be a little more careful with my wiring, usually a weak spot.  Socketed transistors for experimentation.  Yes, the led is on the wrong side.  This is a gift for a homie.

This was a goofy struggle build for no good reason.  Pretty much the most straightforward thing I've built recently, but boxing it was a nightmare.  Snapped several components and then rebuilt after ignoring it on the shelf for months.  Gift for a homie.

Very nice. Have you used a bass with the gas tank yet?

You bet!  The bass through gas tank is so much fun.  Sounds like a blown out speaker on steroids.

Very clean builds, looks like those skills are coming along nicely.
