Title: Headtrip diodes
Post by: matmosphere on April 20, 2021, 08:09:08 PM
Think I know the answers already but never hurts to check.

I don't have any 1n914's on hand is there any problems using 4148's as a substitute?

I also don't think I have any 1n5617's  is it okay to use a 1n4001? I know they are usually placed between 9v and ground so I wasn't sure they would work in this configuration.

Headtrip takes 1N5817 not 1N5617...

That was a typo

I put in a socket and then found a 5817. Facepalm

To answer your other question, the 1n4148 is perfectly fine.
