Title: Glasshole wiring update
Post by: madbean on April 24, 2021, 12:53:41 PM
From this thread: https://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=32458.0

An issue has been found with faint ticking with the Glasshole. I confirmed the problem and found a solution. The input and output jack tips should be wired directly to the bypass switch. I made a design error in locating their connections on the PCB too close to the Rate pot which is the cause of the ticking.

I've updated the Glasshole doc with a new wiring diagram. This solved the issue in my build so I expect it will for anyone else who is having this problem.

Hey Brian,

Just got finished with the build. Thanks for the great project. Just wanted to point out that the wiring diagram as it is in the pdf has the "Out" and the "J2" switched. I wired up according to the updated diagram, and although it produced the effect when engaged, there was no sound when bypassed. Switched the positions of "Out" and "J2" and everything worked perfectly. That's to say out from the pcb to the top right of the 3PDT and output jack to the middle right of the 3PDT. Thanks again!
