Title: Wavelord ext jack with Parasit Sonic Reducer mod
Post by: 3knobfury on July 24, 2022, 04:53:49 PM
Ok, the first part of this question, does the ext jack on the Wavelord retain the wave shape when combined to another opto driven pedal? I REALLY hope so because that would make the second part of this question just friggin awesome. The Parasit studio Sonic Reducer board has the option to add an opto driven lfo mod board which the mod is basically just 2 pads to receive LDR input, so, if the Wavelord CAN feed the receiving LED the same wave shape, could I not just attach an LED to a 3.5mm jack in the sonic reducer, solder an LDR to the mod pads and have the ability to drive the modulation from the Wavelord? Please say yes. PLEASE SAY YES!

Yep, the EXT jack is essentially an LED driver that allows you to use the Wavelord (or Tappy) as a master controller for connected LEDs. Check the build documentation for more information.

Oh hell Yeah! Thanks Benny! You may see this same question posted over on the "other" site as well, I go by Diynot over there.
