Title: Tourbus(EHX DMM) with tap tempo
Post by: anekdote on August 25, 2022, 05:36:58 AM
I built a tap temp with 4 programmable presets with PedalSync MV-64 chip for AquaBoy DLX delay pedal years ago.
I still cannot grasp how this weird ground scheme works (Tourbus is positive ground +18v pedal), but finally, it worked!

Pros:
tap tempo, yes
680ms max delay (around 500ms for DMM)
you can save 4 presets for delay time and modulation

Cons:
modulation is not natural and lush as original DMM
feedback and blend is not programmable, so not that practical

Nice one!
The longest time always gets some clock noise, right?

Looks great.
The tourbuss was my next build, but what you say about modulation kept me waiting. I chose a deluxe aquaboy while I decide which version of the dmm I will build
