Title: Dirtbag Delay mod switch and delaypot question
Post by: Loztboy on December 28, 2011, 12:19:03 PM
The two closest to 100kb pots I have is 106,8K and 98,5K
which is better to use for the delay pot?

When looking at the finished pedal is chorus on, with the switch flipped up or down?

Both pots are fine.
If you need a choice: Take the largest one. :)

The Chorus position is when pin 2 of the switch connects to the "minus" side of C37 (2.2uF).
You can check this with a continuity (resistance) measurement.
Of course you can always turn the switch 180 degrees around in the enclosure! :)

So chorus will be activated when the switch is in down position, connecting the two upper holes?

Chorus will be activated when the switch toggle is facing the top of the enclosure.  Vibrato when the toggle is pointed to the footswitch.

Umm...turning the switch won't do anything in this case.  It's an on-on switch.
