I'm a very long time audio gear repair tech, avid DIYer, and wannabe onboard preamp designer, but pedals are a relatively new direction for me and as I'm porting back to some guitar playing from several years of going bass-only, I figure it's time to have a look around and get familiar with what's up these days. Plenty of familiar faces already, I reckon some of you will recognize me from Talkbass especially.
Lots of really nice work on display, looking forward to picking up some build tips and other inspiration!
Welcome! :) Preamp designer sounds very interesting, made up a Bartolini workalike from a DIYSB schematic recently and it sounded ace.

It's strictly a hobby deal, and I am planning on retiring from even that very soon now. I've designed and built a number of bass amps too, and shown those in my friends NAMM booth as well. But actually mass producing those would be way out of my wheelhouse, esecially since most of them are Class D and the regulatory hoops are quite daunting.
