Title: Greenbean Effect volume
Post by: aienco on March 15, 2023, 03:20:02 AM
Can anyone tell me how much of a drop in volume there should be between the normal sound and the effect. Each switch position, accept the middle of course, drops the volume by about 25%?

Is this normal?

It's completely normal. The different clipping diodes have different output levels. So, silicon diodes clip the most signal and therefore has the least output. LEDs do much less clipping so the output level is almost unchanged from having no clipping diodes at all.
