Hi, I built the harbinger 1.5 vibe over 2 days and worked first time with no issues my only gripe is the vibe effect,when the intensity is full it has a very pronounced wu wu wu sound which I don't like,now I've made a number of vibes eg, neovibe, warhead,forum and Electrovibe and they produce a very similar sound to a lesser or greater extent and one commercial pedal TREX Viper vibe sounds a tad like this also, id love to get the voodoo vibe or gypsy vibe chewy sound (as they call it)but can't seem to achieve it.
Where does this sound lie? is the ldr's and lamp? or other components? If anybody has any clues I'd love to hear , cheers Crawford
without a schematic for the ones you like it's gonna be hard to know the differences. Maybe you aren't really a vibe person, I'm not either-it's ok lol. The glasshole on the right setting can be really chewy and vibe like.
Thanks for replying,never thought of comparing schematics, I do have a dejavibe that gets in the direction which I bought as I was fed up making them and never happy with the sound,I have a YouTube channel under my name where I do short vids of pedals I've made and the vibes are among them, never thought of not being a vibe person😱 anyway thanks again, Crawford Houston
