Title: Schematic generation and AI
Post by: fair.child on January 12, 2024, 06:07:02 PM
During the zoom meeting, I mentioned about AI generation or schematic capture. Now I recalled what the website/ service. Check it out

Flux.ai

Let me know what you guys think about it

pretty neat!

I haven't done a deep dive, but in starting a basic schematic drawing, it's fairly intuitive. It looks like there's some pre-planning needed for us weirdos who use through-hole components ;D

I'm guessing for the "generic" parts with no footprint data, we'd have to select a specific part from the library to make sure we're populating TH resistors, for example, and not microscopic SMD packages.

maybe a simple way is to just create a component with the right package specs and then just copy/paste that so it retains the properties?
