Title: chunk chunk - Dr Boogie
Post by: FilthyK782 on January 07, 2012, 08:48:12 AM
This is a build with a mad bean PCB. I spent more time on the wiring having read several other posts about making them. I had no problems building it although I do get a little interferance as its such high gain pedal. I ended up preferring to bias it by ear but may look at shielding the cable as suggested in other posts if only I could be sure how its done. The decal are from tranfer kit and my only mistake was the Dr Nasty where I put the wording in the wrong place and ended up changing it to an arrow. Never mind it makes it one of a kind. No mods on this one-straight build and I am pleased with the end result. Just some work on reducing the slight backround hiss. Wiring improved from last builds I hope and having brough some better tools the benefit is noticable. The red covering to the left of the shot is where I put in a battery snap just incase I want it in the future and have just covered it with heat sink while not being used. thanks
