Title: Cupcake biasing
Post by: jessenator on April 11, 2024, 10:37:31 PM
So I've got my Cupcake working, but in biasing I'm not able to get over 980mV.

I've got a 10k trimmer, but using MMBFJ201s instead of 5457s. Wonder if that has anything to do with it.

awkward shadows and rosin residue, not burn marks

Well, I looked again and I was measuring from the wrong contact—mistook a via for a probe point. And I guess my missing it in the documentation bears blame.

However, measuring from the gate, I still can't get to even 1V

If i measure at the source I can get 1.5V easy peasy. Anyway, maybe I'll just tweak it until it sounds good.

I had a similar issue with my build and ended up reducing R11 from 2k4 to 1k2. It definitely still squishes.

Cool. I'll give that a shot. Thanks!
