Title: Dano (beavis) RAT diode mod
Post by: movinginslomo on June 15, 2024, 01:26:07 AM
on Dano's (beavis) website he had archived a rat diode mod using switch between LED'S (tried and done, Turbo RAT) and a 1n34a - IRF520 MOSFET diode pair as seen HERE (http://beavisaudio.com/projects/fkr/images/MightierMouse.gif)

I am going to try them in a RAT circuit on the 'ol (actually new) breadboard.. my question.. can I also use these in a tubescreamer circuit? (my next to play with) worst I could attempt to contact Dano himself but I figured I'd ask here

Late to the party, but yes you definitely can use that setup in a Tubescreamer.

Well we breadboarded. Nothing hugely spectacular with a TS circuit. Sounds great in a RAT through
