Title: Dragonbeard Jr 308 Question
Post by: Bio77 on October 18, 2024, 06:37:43 PM
I'm building up the Dragonbeard Jr.  I have one 308 chip that I'm 100% about and another that I'm ~70% about.  I was wondering if either IC1 or IC2 would be considered more important to the sound of the pedal?  I.e. where should I put the 100% 308?

Just because I don't know the specific answer have you considered socketing it and seeing if it matters?

I'd go with IC 1. Looks like it will set the general tone. IC 2 is a dual Opamp and IC 1 is a single. Don't get them mixed up or it won't work and will mostly likely render your dual opamp null and void.

Thanks guys!  8)

I needed up ordering some more 308s to test.  I got it sorted, sounds mean.
